Tour 2, 2007 (11 Tornadoes!)
If you look at the shaved head video from Tour 2, you can tell I had an excellent time with Brian Barnes and Storm Tours. If anyone can find a tornado, he can. While he has the most sophisticated equipment on the planet for finding storms, my gut feeling is he could do it without the equipment in the same way a good hunting dog can sniff out game. Brian is the safest operator in the business and is quick to get you into the van when it is not safe to be outside. We not only captured great tornado videos but also snapped nice lightning shots. He is quite knowledgeable, very patient and plays a mean guitar.

If there is even the slightest chance for severe weather Brian goes for it! It doesn't matter where there is a chance for storms, Brian is going there, and even our last Saturday was a complete chase day! The chase vans are real comfortable and the driving skills of the team are excellent!

Tour 1, 2006
In 2006, I booked a tour for myself and 11 of my employees.   I needed a way to get my senior staff together for an extended period of time and do some team building. I saw Brian on television one night and thought a storm chasing tour would be fun.

Brian and his team were excellent, professional and dedicated. I couldn't imagine a better team of storm chasers in existence. Further, the vans were equipped with luxury features such as captain seating and satellite television, which is nice when you're traveling such long distances each day while you are on the way to the "target" area for severe storms.

The result of our experience with Brian couldn't be better and we saw multiple tornadoes on one day of our trip in Missouri. I'm still seeing positive results now months after the tour has ended because my staff is working together more closely on projects from the resulting friendships they made while chasing storms.

We are looking forward to many more great adventures with Brian in the future. If you own a business and want to find a way to bring your team closer together in a short amount of time and if you travel easily, I highly recommend storm chasing with Brian.

I want to thank you again for the truly awesome experience that my wife and I had while on tour with you. I have been on storm chasing tours with three other companies and there is simply no comparison, StormTours.com is the best of the best. You guys made my dream of seeing a tornado come true when nobody else could produce. I will never forget having to pick my jaw up off the floor when we intercepted the tornado near Westminster, Texas on May 9th. Not only do you guys have a true natural ability for finding the best storms, but you guys are hands down the best in customer service in my humble opinion. Brian made our trip truly enjoyable; it was a pleasure being on the road with you for 10 days. Hats off to StormTours.com!

Tour 5, 2006
I just wanted to send a quick email to let you know that I am without a doubt a life customer of StormTours.com. As you know, our tour (tour 5) encountered a bad weather pattern for tornadoes and we had several down days, but Brian really came through and made the trip the best it could possibly be. I had a similar situation happen last year with a different storm chasing tour company and on that tour we ended up staying at the same hotel in some small little town in Texas for four days because the tour director didn't want to spend money to do anything when there was nothing to chase. My storm chasing tour with you was completely different, on our down days we visited the summit of Pikes Peak, a volcano in Northeast New Mexico and I really enjoyed the Twister Museum in Wakita, Oklahoma. And, the landspout tornado and storms we saw on the last day of our storm chasing tour were absolutely incredible. I can't wait to do it again next year, and then the next year.

I just couldn't believe how solid of a severe weather forecaster Brian is. He told us exactly where a tornado would form hours before it happened and had us sitting on a small road in the middle of nowhere, Kansas and sure enough an awe-inspiring wall cloud formed nearly overhead and an F3 rated tornado touched down just a few hundred yards away. I still don't know how he did it, but I will never even think about a storm chasing tour with anyone else ever again. Witnessing the tornado in Harper County, KS on May 29 has changed my life, I am completely addicted now to storm chasing.

Tour 6 - 2006
Thank you for such an amazing tour; it has by far been the best vacation that I have ever taken. I was raised in Kansas, but my family moved to the west coast when I was still in high school and I have always missed the beauty of the open plains and most of all – the storms. Not only did you let me recapture some of my youth, but I met some of the most wonderful people on your tour that I have ever met in my life, including the love of my life and we already have plans for a wedding in the fall and Michael is in the final stages of relocating to Redding. We have only lived 150 miles apart all these years, and it was a chance meeting of being on a storm chasing tour in the Great Plains that has changed both our lives. Most people think we are nuts for wanting to chase storms, but that is what is so nice about being on a storm chasing tour – you can met people that share the same passion about severe weather as you do. We will both be back next year, but I will have a different name. I can't thank you enough for the wonderful time we all had chasing storms together.

Tours 7 & 8 - 2006
I was so glad to finally go on a storm chasing tour and be comfortable while riding every day for such extended periods of time. Most people don't realize that storm chasing requires about 500 miles per day to get to the target storm; real-life storm chasing is about as far from the Hollywood version of it as Hollywood is as far from Tornado Alley. Being able to relax while in the van and recline in the custom seats is hands-down the best feature I have ever seen on any storm chasing tour. I have a mild back problem that and such trips have been difficult for me in the past, but when I heard about your captain seats I knew this was a storm chasing tour that even I could handle. Brian and his team were excellent in finding storms on every day of our trip and were very easy to speak with, answering all of our questions. I have been storm chasing with a few different companies. But, I'll be returning to for more storm chasing tours!
