Tour 4 started out with a dry run on Monday and we're going to be ridge out for most of the tour in the plains. Today however we were lucky enough to intercept a few severe warned thunderstorms as a cold front punched through Oklahoma near Wister in southeastern part of the state. While the "Wister Twister" didn't happen today, with the setup that we were given...we were pretty lucky to see these cells go severe in the first place.
Just a few quick photos for this chase log of a cell that took on some decent looking structure with a wall cloud underneath the updraft between
Sprio, OK and Fort Smith, AR.
